This week marks a major milestone for Ireland’s National Postcode System — Eircode is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
Since its launch in 2015, Eircode has helped people across the country find addresses faster, get deliveries more accurately, and navigate with ease.
In a press release earlier this week, Minister of State for Postal Policy and Sport who has special responsibility for Eircodes at the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport, Charlie McConalogue TD, shared his delight at the system’s success, highlighting how Eircode has become an essential part of everyday life. He joined Gillian Chamberlain, Managing Director at Capita Ireland, to mark the occasion.
