Following an extensive and successful testing
phase, we are pleased to confirm the launch of Eircodes for new-builds
on-a-monthly basis.
Minister of State Jack Chambers, who has responsibility for Eircodes at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, made the announcement about this positive development in a press release on Thursday 9th of March 2023.
Allocating Eircodes
more regularly will reduce the waiting time for the assignment of Eircodes to
new builds and therefore help to increase efficiencies and continue to build upon the
success of Eircode
The first Monthly Update of Eircodes is now live and visible on the Eircode Finder.
