93.3% of us can provide a correct Eircode when asked according to an independent survey conducted in December 2020 by Amárach Research.
Significantly, of those of us that can provide a correct Eircode, 73% can do so from memory (almost five times higher than in 2017). This is a complete reversal of the almost 80% of people who relied on ‘looking it up’ four years ago.
For this independent research, a nationally representative sample included Unique and Non-Unique addresses across both rural and urban regions.
