Not currently, but you can create a shortcut to the Eircode Finder on your mobile device.
This will allow you to quickly access the Eircode Finder to search for an Eircode, an address or get directions to the location of an Eircode.
This can be done in a few very simple steps (outlined below for both an iOS and Android mobile device) and while this doesn’t give the full functionality of an app it’s a quick and convenient way to access all the functionality available in the Finder tool from a mobile device. Follow the simple steps below to create your shortcut.
Please note that some steps / results may vary slightly between devices and platforms.
On an iOS device
- Visit the Eircode Finder in your mobile web browser https://finder.eircode.ie
- Tap the
icon found at the bottom or top of the screen
- Choose “Add to Home Screen” from the options provided.
- You can rename the shortcut – Eircode Finder and Tap “Add”in top right corner.
- An icon will now be added to your homescreen to allow you to access the Eircode Finder with one click.
On an Android device
- Visit the Eircode Finder in your mobile web browser https://finder.eircode.ie
- Navigate to the options menu at the bottom right of your screen
- Select ‘Add Page to’ from the options provided.
- Choose to add it to the ‘Home Screen’ and select ‘Add’.
- An icon will now be added to your homescreen to allow you to access the Eircode Finder with one click.
Please note where a user has multiple screens with badges the icon may appear on the final page. It can be moved to a location of the users choosing.
