Eircode will once again have a stand at the National Ploughing Championships which this year is being held in Ballintrane, Fenagh, County Carlow. Our attendance at previous National Ploughing Championships events has proved hugely successful. Many, many thousands of people have had their Eircode printed instantly on a convenient plastic card featuring paintings of traditional Irish country scenes by artist Padraig McCaul.
This year we will be joined by Property Marking Ireland and will be showcasing how they are using Eircode to assist in combatting rural crime. Property Marking Ireland uses a specially-designed machine which embosses the property item with small dots in the pattern of your Eircode. A marked item is less attractive to criminals and by using a unique Eircode it also makes it easier to be returned to the rightful owner if recovered.
